PRESCHOOL
Welcome to Weetwood Preschool where children develop their love of learning and independence. We provide each child with the skills and opportunities to help them progress into their next adventure, a Reception class.
We encourage the children to explore our provision and be independent thinkers whilst having adult guidance and supervision.

HOURS & PRICES
We offer full time childcare from 7:30am – 6:00pm Monday to Thursday & 7:30am - 5:00pm on Fridays.
We accept the Governments 30 free hours code. Please ask for more information.
Children can attend our Preschool from the age of 3. We strongly recommend registering before they reach their second birthday.
All children are entitled to 15 or 30 (if applicable) free hours of childcare from the term after their third birthday.
If you require childcare before your entitlement is available or need additional hours above your entitlement please see costs below.
Our Preschool costs from September 2024 are:
7:30am-9:00am - Regular £6.50, Adhoc £7.50
9:00am-3:00pm - £35.00 (9:00am-12:00pm or 12:00pm-3:00pm - £17.50)
3:00pm-6:00pm - Regular £12.50, Adhoc £13.50
Friday 3:00pm-5:00pm - Regular £10.50, Adhoc £11.50
PROVISION
Our Preschool is run by an experienced team of staff who have a wealth of knowledge of the Early Years.
The Preschool works closely with the Reception class at Weetwood to ensure all children are “school ready” - for whichever school that may be.
Our enabling environment provides us with the flexibility to follow the needs and interests of the children.
This allows us to continually change our provision to keep it new and exciting for our children.
ETHOS
We offer a nurturing environment where children feel safe to become explorers of their own learning.
Our staff provide a child centered curriculum, where the needs and interests of each child are catered for.
We pride ourselves on creating a community where children and parents feel part of the Weetwood family.
PARENTAL ENGAGEMENT
At Weetwood Preschool we have an excellent online learning journey system which showcases your child’s learning in Preschool.
This is easily accessible and we actively encourage parents/carers to contribute to this. This allows you to discuss with your child about their day in Preschool and also allows you to see the next steps in their learning.
We also keep you up to date with weekly newsletters and regular stay and play sessions.
